The regulation and directive on the digitisation of cross-border judicial cooperation and access to justice (the ‘Digitisation Package’) are fundamental pillars on which e-justice will be based in the coming years.

  4. The role of eu-LISA and the Systems Supporting the digitalisation of Justice: e-codex, ECRIS, ECRIS – TCN, JITs cp
  5. Key issues in the EU Regulation on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market (eIDAS).
  6. Digitisation and data protection in criminal proceedings and judicial cooperation in criminal matters in the European Union
  7. The Council of Europe's Digital Agenda: instruments for the digitalisation of Justice in the light of the European Convention on Human Rights.
  8. The EU's “e-Evidence” package on the production, preservation and storage of electronic evidence in criminal proceedings.
  9. Digitalisation of Justice and the fight against organised crime: digital tools in the investigation and prosecution of transnational crime in Eurojust's mission.
  10. Financial crime in the digital age: virtual assets and the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing. The European Union's new package of legislative measures.
