Paço Shop

Welcome to Paço Shop online.

The Paço Shop is the official shop of the University of Minho that was opened to the public on the 19th of September 2019. It is located on the eastern wing of Largo do Paço standing right next to the Rectory attached to the New Exhibitions Gallery. Created to reinforce the identity of the academic community and to raise the University's visibility, Paço Shop has two original merchandise lines on offer specially designed to provide the public with dozens of distinctive and useful products. The institutional line is inspired by the UMinho graphic identity, while the heritage line takes advantage of images of great cultural and aesthetic value coming from the University’s vast heritage, giving it a greater visibility by turning them into everyday objects. The Paço Shop also sells books published by the Rectory and the Cultural Council, in addition to others that after February 2019 are part of the collections and series of UMinho Editora.

Attached to the official shop is a space that displays regional products and aims to contribute to the promotion of the territory and its singular arts and products, fulfilling the goal of reinforcing the University's interaction with society.

The online Paço Shop represents another contribution to expand the ways in which the University of Minho articulates itself with the academic community and society and performs an important tool to promote the University's identity merchandise and the scientific and cultural production of its members resulting in books that are now on sale on the online shop, with a special highlight towards works of UMinho Editora.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 - 12:30 and 14:00 - 18:30
